We Do Dough creates delicious cookie dough goodies. The growth of their bakery business meant they needed to develop their brand and story to connect with their market, and solidify their position in the industry.
THE CHALLENGE
They wanted to bring a tongue-in-cheek approach to their brand and a sense of nostalgia to the visual identity. The core driver for this change was taking their products from a shop-selling model to online ecommerce.

THE APPROACH
The Pip team carried out a deep dive into We Do Dough’s current and desired market, obtained an understanding of the positioning of the business, and identified where the values, proposition and narrative needed firming up for their new approach.
Once we had this information, we created a brand character model, which then steered the design brief for the visual identity. This ensured that the visual identity was truly representative of the strategic piece.



THE IDEA
Our foundation for the idea was based on ‘Probably the world’s best cookie dough’. Delivering a little arrogance, directness, and tongue in cheek. To deliver the energy and quirkiness of this to life, we looked at vibrancy and boldness.



The logo was an iteration from the previous brand, linking with heritage and nostalgia. The typography of this fit with our character and style.
To bring this to life, we devised a colour palette that could be used in any combination, creating a truly dynamic brand look and feel with constant fresh approaches.
We selected a typeface that was bold with a playful edge, complimenting the colour palette and visuals.
The look and feel we developed also included a suite of mascots, supporting the playfulness of the brand.
The creative was applied to packaging, digital design, printed collateral and formed the basis of the ecommerce website – all showcasing the core narrative of We Do Dough – probably the world’s best cookie dough.
We needed a fresh, modern take for We Do Dough, and the Pip team delivered beyond our expectations! From the first brainstorming session, they totally got our vision – blending old-school charm with a funky, contemporary edge. The brand design is spot on, the e-commerce site runs like a dream, and the printed collateral is just gorgeous. Every step felt creative, collaborative, and effortless. They took our ideas, elevated them, and made the entire process fun. Watching our new identity come to life was incredible, and we couldn’t be happier with the results!
