The Hive, a dynamic co-working space nestled in the heart of Kent, offers an inspiring environment where creativity, collaboration, and balance thrive.
THE CHALLENGE
As the space grew and attracted more businesses and individuals, the team recognised the need for a stronger, more cohesive brand identity that truly represented the unique environment and values of the space.

THE APPROACH
We conducted workshops with the team at The Hive to understand their values. Through collaboration, we pinpointed the core of this to be based around ‘environment’. We took this overarching statement and developed the narrative that followed through to the creative.
We carried out creative research, visited the site and gained knowledge of the surrounding areas to help drive creative inspiration around the identity and what this could look like.



THE IDEA
Environment is at the heart of everything The Hive does. The setting of the location, the provision of environment and its impact of connection to nature, the balance of work and wellbeing and the influence it has on innovation and creativity.



We used this idea to develop an earthy stylised logo, brand support pattern and colour palette. We combined structure with organic line work, typography and styled iconography.
We aimed to ensure that each part of the visual identity provided a raw connection to nature and inspire balanced productivity, innovation and creativity.
Working with Pip was a game-changer. They totally got our vision for a natural, vibrant co-working space that brings together a diverse mix of entrepreneurs and businesses. From creating our brand identity to rolling it out across internal comms, place branding, merch, and digital assets, they nailed every detail.
