It has been over 100 years since the classic 9-to-5 workday and 5-day work week were established, and we are sure you would agree, a LOT has changed since then!

After reviewing the findings of our initial trial back in 2023, we made the decision to keep our 4-day work week permanently. This shift has allowed us to explore new ways of working while significantly improving the overall work-life balance for our team. We have gained valuable insights into the benefits of a shorter work week, and we continue to see the positive impact it has on our team and our clients.

There are several reasons why transitioning from a 5-day to a 4-day workweek has been beneficial for both our team and you, our client.

Reducing the number of workdays has improved well-being and mental health by giving our team members more time to rest and recharge. This has led to increased motivation, productivity, and, most importantly in relation to what we do, creativity.

Additionally, a shorter work week promotes a better work-life balance, allowing our team more time for personal pursuits and family responsibilities. This has reduced stress and burnout, creating a more positive, enthusiastic, and engaged work environment.

A four-day work week also benefits our clients. With a more rested and motivated team, work quality and focus have improved. Clients benefit from increased efficiency and responsiveness, as our extended daily hours ensure we remain fully available during our working days.

How do our work hours look now?
We have changed our work hours:
FROM: Monday – Friday, 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM
TO: Monday – Thursday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

What does this mean for you?
Nothing! We build our new work hours into project planning. If you have a delivery deadline that falls on a Friday, we ensure everything is delivered by end of play Thursday. We simply ask our clients to be mindful of these work hours and ensure they have everything they need by the close of business on Thursday.

Are we contactable on Fridays?
Our new structure means we extend our daily work hours Monday to Thursday to accommodate our clients’ projects effectively. This also means that on Fridays, we log off from emails and phones to take time to recharge.
If you have any questions or queries at all, please do not hesitate to get in touch.

Thank you for supporting us on this journey of change.
