AN UPDATE: Modernising a traditional aspect of global networking.
BNI, founded in 1985 by Ivan Misner, is arguably the worlds leading ‘referral organisation’. Designed and working to build relationships between its members, the network boasts $14bn worth of referrals since its inception and has a base of around 242,000 members worldwide. The UK alone generated £428m of business across its thousands of members, all of which pay a subscription fee to be a part of the organisation.
WHAT WE DID
Over the past 12 months, BNI has worked tirelessly for its members, bringing meetings online, improving the user experience and updating the global brand. We worked with them to translate this into their new members packs, looking at the key pieces from our original redevelopment and asking the question, ‘what do you really use?’. With this in mind, we eliminated the business card holder. The thought was that, given the pandemic changing the way people interact, business cards may soon become a thing of the past.
We reengineered the packaging to fit in the new ‘Connector Effect’ book and made the piece look slick with the new BNI brand colours and application.
This piece contains a screen-printed pen, a debossed, bespoke interior notebook and the lapel pin and magnet badges. For the new edition of the members pack, BNI have also included the new book from Ivan Misner et al. ‘The Connector Effect’. Each piece was contained within its own section in a slip-case, printed with just the BNI brand and finished with a soft-touch laminate to create a premium look and feel to the new members pack and something to be truly proud of.
With over 20,000 units having been distributed by BNI already, this is one of the most popular pieces of collateral in town!
