A fresh new mortgage advisory, providing assistance to first-time buyers and remortgages.

IN BRIEF

In the current climate where there is so much uncertainty for first-time buyers and remortgagers, there is a distinct lack of help out there when it comes to making informed decisions and finding the best rates. We worked with a team of seasoned pro’s in the mortgage and financial planning sector to develop Yomo – Your Move, Your Mortgage.

WHAT WE DID

In the current climate where there is so much uncertainty for first-time buyers and remortgagers, there is a distinct lack of help out there when it comes to making informed decisions and finding the best rates. We worked with a team of seasoned pro’s in the mortgage and financial planning sector to develop Yomo – Your Move, Your Mortgage.

The message was simple; Give ownership to the buyer, not the provider. We conducted a workshop with the stakeholders to understand the audiences, the pain points and their mission. Taking this information, we explored naming ideas for the organisation and how this was going to engage with these people. Making it simple, catchy and direct gives the name ‘stick’ factor.

The brand that we have developed for Yomo is primarily digitally focused, and in a sector that is already saturated, we needed to make this stand out and appeal to the younger audience. Using blue as a strong and stable colour provides a solid foundation and a high contrast for the brighter, more vibrant brand colours in the patterning. The pattern was developed to showcase the individuality of buyers, bringing them together and forming a larger, stronger community. We then utilised this in the visual identity, bringing in imagery containments – putting people in the picture.

We developed a range of collateral for Yomo including their communications pieces, business suite and example social media templates. We’ve brought in shape to create distinct differences between this brand and other standard providers and advisors out there in the market.

We’re building on this collection of assets as the brand develops and grows and organically developing the brand guidelines.
